how do you stay consistent with a sketchbook? I love drawing and im pretty good but I seem to only be able to draw on discarded pieces of scrap paper which I always lose! I try to keep sketchbooks but I end up with 99 percent scribbles that have been crossed out and 1 percent actual art! I wish I could have a nice book filled with my best drawings but I just cant stay consistent! Any advice? :)

I am looking into trying stuff from British Supplements, as clean and pure supplements. Sounds like it is menopause symptoms, and it is amazing how it can affect one’s body. And it is absolutely awful at times. So what you think is fybroalmagia symptoms are actually to do with menopause. You can watch Davina McCall’s programmes on Channel 4 “Sex , Mind and Menopause “ & “Sex, Myths and Menooause”. I think you would find it helpful. I had a biopsy of uterus due to HRT and bleeding, which was fine thankfully. The surgeon advised me to take zinc and magnesium which also helps with sleep, and calcium and vitamin D for bones. There is multiple doses supplements specifically for menopause so looking into best ones if any that might help. Though are pricey. Though if they work that would be good. Hope you find right supplements to gain your balance. I know not nice when you want to do things and then don’t have the energy to do it.

I know you will never see this comment, but I just wanted to say that you have inspired me so much. On top of school work and everything else in my life, that has put so much stress on me. I haven't had much motivation to pursue my love of art, and it isn't getting any easier. Today, I was on RUclips, and I stumbled across your channel. You gave me so much inspiration to begin journaling and to begin so many things I didn't know existed. You basically lighted a fire underneath me, and don't know how to thank you. My art "career" now has motivation again, and I can continue my journey as a young artist all because you helped me see the light to journaling. Thank you!

I started doing this in my late 40s and its been a fun often challenging adventure but am still trying to make more money but it is important to do some fun work that you enjoy anyway even if making money at it is challenging while still trying to get more paying jobs that aren't as fun .I'm in my 60s now and wish I had tried to do more of this sooner than my 40s.

Being an art teacher for 20+ years, I still have this nagging feeling about not having the time or energy to do my art. Teaching is a very heavy load of work. Because I have to earn a living, I don't have the time to be the artist I am meant to be.🙃

I’d have to clean and organize my house and get a job to make extra money in order to get a solid start. I’ve learned to live on my small retirement funds. social security, while feeding a dozen critters who are my family. Recently I got one hand done for bad carpal tunnel which caused a pain in my lower neck mid shoulder blades ( yes I read that this can happen due to carpal tunnel getting worse) by 2 hours of art which lasted almost two days. I mean sharp awfulness. Heating pads and rubbing. Caused an aversion when I already have avoidance. Getting started is the hard part but having to quit so soon is a drag and wait a couple days. To do that “getting started” trick. I need freedom from frustration! Usually I like challenge. Also when art feels more like work than pleasure I wonder if I have chosen the right thing to enhance my life. What am I doing that causes it to become more like work? Is that in my head? I am going to restart. I got one hand done. Next the other. What will happen if this did not fix the recent problem? I put in hours a day for 8 months without that happening. I ended up grooming dogs for awhile and my carpal tunnel got that bad from it to get a fix.

I am fairly new to you, and it seems Serendipitous that I came across you at this particular time in my life, at age 52, Also feeling the magical Transition within myself, and Having literally just started To create for myself again After 25 years. Of course with 4 children My creativity has not gone to waste Through enabling creative experiences for them, Handcrafting Halloween costumes, Decorating birthday cakes, cooking meaningful meals, etc, But I truly can feel a shift within me- an inner tingling As if coming out of a dormant state. I am so thankful to have found Such a glorious being as yourself to share these times with!
